The Mission Bay South Block 9 Project is a housing development support space for individuals formerly experiencing homelessness. Freyer & Laureta, Inc. (F&L) works on the design of the building, which is a four-story, U-shaped building with an open courtyard/community garden. F&L is providing Civil Engineering services for the design and completion of the project, including:
Mission Bay Park P2-P8 is part of the linear parks being constructed adjacent to Mission Creek in San Francisco. F&L’s design work for Park P2-P8 consists of two park blocks which includes a community garden, overland flow components, and multi-modal paths. The parks will include close coordination with the MCHA, SF Port, the Successor Agency, and PUC for stormwater treatment. F&L’s services include:
Freyer & Laureta, Inc. provides design and engineering services for Mission Bay’s Park P3 which is part of the linear parks being constructed adjacent to Mission Creek in San Francisco. The park design incorporates multi-modal paths, seating areas, and stormwater treatment features to treat runoff from the public infrastructure areas. Design of Park P3 includes close coordination with the SF Port, the Successor Agency, Bay Conservation & Development Commission (BCDC) and SFPUC for stormwater treatment. F&L’s services include:
Freyer & Laureta, Inc. is leading the planning and design of Stage 2 and 3 for the Treasure Island Redevelopment. The project will deliver much needed housing along with new infrastructure for the San Francisco Bay Area. The 460 acre island redevelopment and revitalization will provide 8,000 new residential units with extensive open spaces, new downtown, hotels, restaurants, retail, entertainment venues, and dramatic waterfront parks and streetscapes with new infrastructure. The project includes utility infrastructure design; pedestrian, roadway, and parking design; grading and stormwater design including preparation of Stormwater Control Plans; and surveying and mapping including tentative and final maps. Our services include:
1000 Channel Street Partners is constructing multi-family, multi-use residential project consisting of a 16-story tower and a six story tower. The ground floor will have retail and restaurant tenants. The two towers have a common podium area at the fourth level that incorporates stormwater treatment facilities in compliance with Stormwater Ordinance.
The site is bounded by a proposed park on the north and a future hotel on the southeast with the structure being built to the back of walk on Third Street, Fourth Street, and Channel. The arrangement of site utilities to minimize conflict with existing public infrastructure, including the active Muni light rail, provides challenges when siting the final utility connection points. F&L is providing civil design services including:

UCB (University of California, Berkeley) is replacing Tolman Hall with a new academic office building located at 2012 Berkeley Way in Berkeley, California. The building includes UCB faculty offices for the departments of Public Health, Education, and Psychology including both classroom space as well as third party tenants. F&L’s services include:
