City of San Mateo Roadway Capital Improvement Program (San Mateo, CA)

The City of San Mateo maintains and repairs over 210 miles of streets. To fund ongoing City maintenance and improvement projects, the City is implementing two capital improvement programs to improve the quality of the streets throughout the City including the annual Pavement Management Program (PMP) and the Smooth Streets Program (SSP). With both programs, the City’s goal is to continue to maintain a City-Wide Pavement Condition Index (PCI) above 75. F&L’s services include:

City of East Palo Alto Staff Augmentation (East Palo Alto, CA)

The City of East Palo Alto is experiencing unprecedent residential and mixed-use development growth. As result, the City required additional staff to support the land development applications and water distribution system capital improvement program. The City is also implementing a groundwater program to increase the diversity and resiliency of the is potable water supply portfolio. F&L’s services include:

San Francisco Public Works As-Needed Infrastructure Engineering Support (San Francisco, CA)

The City and County of San Francisco has embarked on a major program to build over 20, large-scale development projects including but not limited to Pier 70, Mission Rock, and Park Merced that all include affordable housing, open space, historic rehabilitation, and manufacturing along with the infrastructure to support the new developments. San Francisco Public Works (SFPW) serves a key role to facilitate all San Francisco departments’ review of the planning, permitting, and construction of the necessary infrastructure improvements to support the much-needed redevelopment projects. Due to the expedited timelines needed to meet the growing housing demands within the City, SFPW engaged F&L to provide a wide range of support roles. F&L’s services include:

Develop master program schedule and reporting including coordination with development teams
Technical peer review of surveying, mapping, and construction document deliverables
Project management including coordinating with all City agencies throughout planning and permitting

City of Mountain View Staff Augmentation (Mountain View, CA)

The City of Mountain View is experiencing a significant increase in multi-family, mixed use, and office/commercial development projects to support the growing residential and business population. The City required support to intake, review, and coordinate development permit applications including coordination with all necessary internal City agencies. Additionally, the City required support for developing maps, plats, and legal descriptions required for the City to approve development applications. F&L’s services include:
